According to Eric Fisher of Sports Business Journal, EA sports will no longer use Tiger Woods' name on its golf video game. Good thinking, EA! With all the other big name golfers, that shouldn't hurt your sales at all. I would rather play the version of Tiger Woods golf from South Park than a game with Keegan Bradley on the cover.
Great point by CBS Sports about the timing of this decision:
One would also think that with the end of EA's relationship with the NCAA they would beef up the other games they have.
So will EA even produce another golf game? Maybe Lee Carvello's Putting Challenge makes a comeback?
