As I overlooked the Ticket/WOAI broadcast schedule, I noticed that this Sunday is still Giants-Redskins for Sunday Night Football. I thought we all agreed that this is why the flex game was important?
The eliminated New York Giants "battle" the totally eliminated Washington Redskins! Last place in the NFC (L)East is on the line! The Eli Manning Face! RG3's recovering knee! Baton down the hatches!!!
I looked into it. I still do not fully understand the flex rules, but I believe that since these are two NFC teams, it has to be flexed to Fox. So, which one of these do you want in primetime?
Bears at Vikings (meh). Cardinals at Eagles (ummm). Tampa at Panthers (blah). Falcons at Bills (no!!!). Rams at Niners (bleck). So:
Cards and Eagles! It's a battle of two teams we have to pretend are interesting. It's the proof that the 5th and 6th seeds in this year's playoffs are incredibly mediocre! On NBC!

Even though there was no context to including them, the Houston Astros were the butt of the joke on a recent episode of Jeopardy! Here's a screen cap of the answer (question)...
The question? (or the answer...Jeopardy! loves their unique "answers are questions" thing). What is a "blowout preventer." That'll show 'em, Alex Trebek!
