Its been official since late last night. The Lakers have hired Mike D'Antoni as their new head coach. After talking things over with Phil Jackson on Saturday they decided to go the other route to a coach that has never won anything. D'Antoni agreed to a three-year deal worth $12 million, with a team option for a fourth season.

The Cowboys beat the Eagles last night in a 38-23 win. Tony Romo went 19-26 threw for 209 yards and 2 TDs, while Michael Vick suffered a concussion and Reid said Vick has been csuffering from fatigue and headaches all day today.

And in a big shocker the Saints handed the Falcons their first loss of the season. The Saints ended the win streak with a end score of 31-27. Matt Ryan having 34-52 attempts for 411 yards and 3TDs wasn't enough to beat those Saints. Drew Brees went 21-32 attempts for 291 yards and 3TDs. Both QBs had 1 Int.

DeMarcus Cousins gets suspended for 2 games without pay after confronting Sean Elliot in a hostile manner. DeMarcus trying to bow up to Duncan after getting a and 1 call just to have Duncan block him a couple possessions after that started getting a little frustrated. Sparked Elliot to say this "That's why some humility is in order, You think you're dominating Tim Duncan, you get it stuffed right back in your face. Timmy doesn't like to talk trash. But if guys start talking mess to him, he's going to respond. All that trash talking was premature. I'm not about to let these guys off the hook. Young ballclub should learn from this. Don't start talking and flapping your gums against one of the greatest players ever. He's going to make you pay. Tell me who got the best of this exchange." Cousins wound up hearing Sean say this and waited till after post game still in his uniform to confront him. Bill Schoening had this to say "I saw them in an animated conversation out on the court. I observed Sean walk away from Cousins and Cousins continue to talk to Sean as he left the scene, but I couldn't hear what was being said."

Wow. TMZ is reporting that the voice of Elmo Kevin Clash might have diddled little bo*s. The guy now is 24 years old and claims that him and Clash had a relationship when he was 16 years old. Clash has told TMZ that he did have a relationship with the young man but insists it only took place after the accuser was an adult.
