Chris Broussard and Rob Parker react to Deion Sanders coming under criticism after former Colorado Buffaloes DB Xavier Smith accused him of neglecting to get to know his players and destroying their confidence. Deion Sanders went on to mock Smiths 2023 stats at Austin Peay State University on ‘”X”, quoting a picture of the former Colorado DBs stats and wiring, “Lawd Jesus”.
Chris Broussard: “Everybody can’t be a Division 1 football player! You got to deal with it, I mean come on this is sport, this is competition, and everyone can’t make the team... I do have a problem with Deion getting into at the level he did, he’s a college football coach he has to be an authority. He is above the players!”
Rob Parker: “He should be the adult in the room and that’s the disappointing thing! Do you really need to do that? YOU are the adult; I get it if the kids are doing it, but my god be the adult in the room and overlook it!
